Tonight I was told by someone I've had my eye on, that I should settle down after all the ranting and raving about Prop 8 here in CA. I was TOLD that giving a damn to the point of being VOCAL about it...was unattractive. Unattractive? So being a lemming and letting bigotry control my life is attractive now? Is it like Brown is the new Black? What the hell is this world coming to, when someone says that?

On November 4th, I swallowed my tonsils because we as a nation elected the very first African American president, yet denied my fellow Californians Equal Rights.

SAN FRANCISCO -- California's highest court agreed Wednesday to hear several legal challenges to the state's new same-sex marriage ban, but refused to allow gay couples to resume marrying until it rules on the measure's validity.

The California Supreme Court accepted three lawsuits seeking to nullify Proposition 8, a voter-approved constitutional amendment that overruled the court's May decision legalizing gay marriage.
